The Monstrumologist

by Rick Yancey

What if there were scientist who really studied monsters? What would their lives be like and how would they go about studying the things they specialized in? Where do you find monsters; or do they find you?

This story is told by Will Henry. He is the apprentice, the assistant, to the town's monstrumologist, Dr. Pellinore. The things Will has seen are incredibly terrorizing and horribly gross. Don't read this book before you go to bed. It may give you nightmares.
